ROUND EYES

This novel is based on historical facts of the Vietnam War and is perhaps the first book about the airline flight crews who volunteered to transport combat troops to and from Vietnam.  An American civilian's attempt to deliver medical supplies to the United States prisoners of war held in North Vietnam is also detailed, beginning with his charter of three Braniff International Airlines aircraft with all-volunteer crews.  From foot soldiers plodding through the jungles, dust-off helicopter pilots ferrying the wounded to hospital units in safe areas, fighter pilots securing the air space, to doctors and nurses working in camps or on hospital ships, to the airline pilots and flight attendants who brought the troops back home, ROUND EYES gives the reader an overview of living and dying in Vietnam.

DEAD IN THE WATER

This Dallas attorney seems to have it all ... fancy car, beautiful house in the best neighborhood, gorgeous wife, and socially prominent parents.  However, he is actually a closet sadist, embezzler and murderer, universally hated by all who know him.   Weeks before a scuba dive trip to Hawaii, several people are stalking the attorney. Nearly everyone associated with him has a good reason for wanting to see him dead; his wife, father, next-door neighbor, secretary, illegitimate son, and a brother of the woman he killed, to name a few.   With almost everyone around him planning his demise, what began as the perfect murder suddenly evolves into a dizzying array of plots and sub-plots, by all those lawyer-hating people with motives.

THE PAINTED MAN

Teenage girls and small children are vanishing all over America, and the FBI finally connects some of these disappearances to a Japanese yakuza.  They find him in New York, and then lose him, before eventually capturing this clever, ruthless criminal covered with tattoos.  The "painted man" is extradited to Florida to stand trial for kidnapping, extortion, and murder, but escapes during the airline flight, and leads authorities on a chase throughout the southern states on his way to Mexico.  Texas Rangers, DPS troopers, Sheriff's Deputies, undercover narcotics officers, and even a female private investigator also get involved, as everyone tries to apprehend the Painted Man.
